Campbell is a consummate storyteller, and he masterfully sets the stage for the invasion of the Spooky Folk. While this is geared toward children and preteens, Winda the Witch works quite well as a coming of age story that will be appreciated by anyone for whom Halloween still has a touch of magic to it. As it's one of my favorite holidays, I quickly fell in love with this humorous, witty and spooky debut novella. Winda the Witch: Tales of the Spooky Folk is most highly recommended."
